  • I really tried to enjoy this game. I really did.
Now, I'm one of those people that can sometimes enjoy medeocre games because while they're far from perfect, you can usually see where the developers were going with it. You can see the potential. You can regocnize that, had said game been given a few more months of tweaks and testing, it might have been above-average.

Dragon Ball Z: Sagas is not one of those games.

I gave it my all and spent 3 solid days trying, but I can assure you, this game is garbage.
This is a game that was doomed from the minute the developers agreed that We, as players, have no business controlling the angle of the camera that we depend on to survive. Not to mention that each characters moves are exactly the same as every other characters moves, performed by pressing the exact same button combinations. Oh, and the skill system is almost as advanced as what we saw 3 console generations ago.
And did i mention that the AI is unimaginably moronic? Go ahead. Imagine the worst AI you've ever seen in any game, ever. It's worse than that.

If i had any part in the making of this game and anyone found out, I'd probably kill myself.

  • Fun for a bit but it wears off quick. Especially once you realize theres only about 2 different animations associated with each object, and that a much greater variety of weapons was alluded to before its release.

  • Great game. Not perfect. Felt it was cut short in some areas, like clothing and car customization. Feels like the cover system was tacked-on last minute.

  • Continued the formula that made the previous titles awesome. A few new features like weapon upgrades, hostage taking, and better body disposal kept this game from feeling too much like Hitman:Contracts. My only problem with this game was that it was a little too easy. Maybe I've just gotten a little too good at killing...

  • This is truly one of those games thats easy to learn, but difficult to master. The satisfaction I've gotten from really putting a whole lot of time and effort into this game is difficult to describe. 5 years in and it's still awesome.

  • I really don't think any explanation is necessary. Even as this game approaches the 10 year old mark i'm happy to say that it still has its charm.

  • Nice assortment of weapons. I really enjoyed piecing together the story through found emails and audiologs. The first time through there can be some seriously tense moments, but the monster disposal becomes really repetitive. I think i enjoyed having to piece together the plot through the emails and such more than shooting the same monsters over and over. And it doesn't help that the AI is retarded.
