An awesome game that combines the Bejeweled gameplay with the RPG world. I love everything about this game.

I'll disagree with Adam on this one :)

I couldn't get into this as much as I was hoping to. The Puzzle element seem at times to rely too much on luck. In any given moment, hoards of tiles can fall resulting in lightningt fast combinations playing out before your eyes.

The adventure map section of the game is nice enough, but you really have to like the puzzle area of the game. Its the main event, and not really my cup of tea.

Puzzle Quest was a pleasant surprise when it was released on handhelds earlier this year, and this XBLA version gets me excited all over again. The unlikely marriage of puzzle gameplay with RPG mechanics makes for one of the most addictive experiences available on Microsoft's downloadable service. The minor glitches that were apparent in the DS version are nowhere to be found here. It's also a bargain on XBLA, priced at half the amount of the portable versions. Well... This may looks stupid, but Puzzle Quest is probably the most addictive game I ever played. I usually play it 20/30 minutes a day, after some Left 4 Dead, just to chill out and speak with my friends at the same time.

This game is pure genious : if you like RPGs and Puzzle Games, please, buy it now.

And that do means NOW.

I originally picked up Puzzle Quest on the DS and had to give it away cause it was making me fail one of my classes! This game is horribly addicting and very original. The Bewjeled styled battle and crazy story lines the game has are a lot of fun. You collect companions along the way that help you in various situations and you can capture most monsters and use them to learn spells from or to make you faster. This game is pure genius. The depth of strategy is pretty unbelievable for what is, essentially, a super-beefed-up Bejeweled game. This is the best game on XBLA, hands down.
