  Inferno Pool doesn't have enough flair to make up for the fact that, though the idea is decent, it just isn't much fun. Sometimes a twist on a classic game doesn't pan out, and that is the case here. The game is best when played in the four player mode, but good luck finding anybody online that want more »s to join you. « less

  XBLA has a lot of "meh" games, and I was fully expecting Inferno Pool to be one of them. However, a review code just happened to fall in my lap, so I decided what the hell, I'll give it a try. I haven't played a whole lot of it, but I gotta say, it leaves a great first impression. Infer more »no Pool is like pool meets a competitive puzzler like Tetris or Meteos. You have to make shots as quickly and as skillfully as possible, all while your opponents are trying to do the same. For every shot you sink, you send a ball to an opponent's table. Normally that's random, but you can send it to an opponent's table of your choice if you wish. As I said, I've just barely scratched the surface of the game, but it's surprisingly interesting. « less

  This is a pretty fun pool game. Has a multiplayer mode. The game includes classic 8-Ball and 9-Ball pool modes for one or two players, but the star of the game is the Inferno Pool mode, where up to four local or online players do battle. Inferno pool is easy to pick up and play and has great graphic more »s too. I give this game 4 stars. « less
