Eets: Chowdown (XBLA)

If you enjoy games like The Incredible Machine or the more recent Enigmo, this is definitely the game for you.

You play the character Eets who is a very hungry little creature and your goal is to guide Eets and help him get to the goals by eating various kinds of marshmallows, getting spit out by whales, using flying explosive super piglets and more.

The main mechanic is that Eets changes mood (angry, happy, scared) based on the things that happen to him and his mood affects how he moves through a level.

Unlike the newer games that try to clone good ol' Incredible Machine, Eets has a lot of personality. Every character is worth a chuckle and the music is catchy and fun. The level design and art style are also very stylized and unique.

Eets: Chowdown is really two games in one, too. There's a separate mode called Marshomadness which up to 4 players can play simultaneously on the same Xbox co-operatively. It's essentially a typing game with your controller but that simplicity gets insane very, very quickly. In some ways, I like this mode even more.

Lastly, Eets: Chowdown is a great game because I managed to sneak into the credits.
