  Defence Grid is an excellent tower defence game, incorporating nicely textured graphics, explosive audio and a good amount of content to keep you satisfied for a long time. I picked this game up a couple of weeks ago and so far i am about half way through the Awakening campaign, which consists of ab more »out 20 levels. For an arcade game, you are getting around 10 hours of gameplay which is pretty impressive. The enemies are well varied and the towers have many different effects on the aliens. The protecting of the cores is a nice touch and definatly makes this game a little unique. The game is extremely easy to control on the 360 which i thought was quite impressive. Overall, anyone with any interest in tower defence should pick this up because of its enjoyable gameplay and very reasonable 800msp price tag. Overall - 8.4 « less

  If you either love or hate tower defence games, disregard this review and just go with your gut because that's exactly what this is. For everyone in the middle or not familiar with the genre, its a very simple strategically based game that is also very addicting. It offers 2 campaigns with dozens o more »f stages each, as well as hours of other challenges to play through. However, aside from an amazingly detailed graphical update (and the 200 gamerscore for fans of achievements) it is just another of the hundreds of tower defence games on the internet, so if you've never played one I suggest you try one of those before spending 200MS points on this. For fans however it remains a must buy. « less

  First off, I love tower defense games. That said I have to say this was an amazing game. Entertaining from start to finish and the leaderboards give it a real replayability.

  Defense Grid is an easy to learn, difficult to master tower defense game. It was originally for the PC and it still controls well after being ported to the Xbox. I thought it would be a standard tower defense game until I saw that the enemies could continue moving the "core" pieces af more »ter another enemy had dropped them. It adds an extra need to kill the enemies on their first run through the mazes. « less
