Team up with up to three of your friends and prepare yourselves for intense side-scrolling, sci-fi shooting action in Ae more »gis Wing. It is set in the year 2105, when humanity must flee a dying Earth for the distant world Europa. But this new home is soon threatened by a powerful alien race, the Araxia. With stolen Araxian technology, the Europa fleet develops an experimental star fighter and assigns four ace pilots to test it. The Aegis Wing is born, and it becomes your mission to wield this new technology as humanity's last hope for survival. Up to four players can play together either locally or over Xbox LIVE to defeat waves of nefarious Araxian ships and bosses, and can even combine spacecraft in two-, three- or four-ship formations to access powerful Super Weapons.Aegis Wing was originally conceived by three students and Microsoft Corp. interns – Scott Brodie, Danny Dyer and Matt Monson – during a summer internship at Xbox LIVE Arcade. Old School game with new school graphics cant complain. It got pretty intense at the end, and ended suddenly. But can't get upset cause it was FREE.

This one is definitely worth a download - it's free. Not to mention, it's a great side-scrolling space shooter. The ship connecting element is pretty cool, and well executed. The game's a bit on the short side, but fun while it lasts, and fun to replay.

A great game for everyone who played oldschool sidescrolling shooters.
The game does need more variety in the enemies and more levels. But it's free! And fun for lots of hours.

I liked this game a lot, it wasn't the greatest game ever but who is complaining? it was a free arcade game. It had fun easy achievements and you could play with all of your friends because they all got it because it was free. It's also cool how all the ships can merge together to make a super ship.

A solid-enough, co-op Arcade game. When the Halo 3 Beta broke, everyone killed time playing Aegis Wing.

a very fun shooter on the 360. the best part about it is that it's free! but because this is a free game don't be fooled Aegis wing is still a tough as nails shooter and provides for a very rewarding experience.

its free its got reat music and its got 4 player co op not bad gahemeplay its seems like a flash game. not bad. if you want a good challenge then do insane. its free so i reccomend it
