Out of all recent console games (PS2 generation and above) this is definitely the most fun I have had with a non-sandbox, adventure game, in my life. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys a bit of intelligent humor, and loved old-school style game-play. This game takes it's two dimensions (at least usually two) and runs around the world with them, and back. Five stars. I wish I could give it six.

This has got to be the biggest let down for a game I've ever known. I was hoping for another Paper Mario, and this is what I get? I was so excited when I heard this game came out, and then I got this garbage. The only reason I got a Wii was to play this sad excuse for a game. After playing it for an hour or so I couldn't believe how bad it sucked, and just sold my Wii.

Super Paper Mario may pale in comparison to the first 2, but it is a welcome edition to the paper Mario franchise

Agreed, it's not like any other RPG. It's a traditional Mario run-and-jumper with lots of RPG elements, but it feels totally unique. Great graphics, lots of cool 3D/2D effects and TONS of Nintendo fan service.

Kind of a slow burn, but there's a lot of fun to be had if you stick with it.

This game is a real trickster. I picked it up thinking it was like the other 2 paper marios, it wasn't. It was a tad better than the typical turn-based RPG but it just didn't feel the same. Well it IS an RPG but the P stands for Platform now. So if you're expecting something like SMRPG and the original paper marios it's gonna disappoint you a little. It's still a great game, just not what I was expecting.
