As King, players will manage and involve their townspeople in the goals of creating this new territory; enlisting them t more »o dig for treasure, build new buildings and otherwise better their community. Of course, leadership is a two-way street, so as King, players will try to conquer rival nations to create a single unified kingdom, while also granting the requests of townspeople at whim. Fantastic game. Engaging, deep, length. LKS is possibly the best Wii game of the year and my personal favorite since World of Goo. A true classic, and one that, by all indications, is going to be under appreciated despite the hype.

The games failings are obvious and well known. Yet, poor path finding AI and lack of IR controls don't break the charm of LKS.

Playing as almost a tribute games such as Pikmin and Harvest moon, core gameplay is addictive and surprisingly deep. While progression may seem straightforward the game likes throwing you the occasional surprise.

Cute fairy tale visuals mask sometimes mature themes and story.

Not perfect and certainly not for all, but wii owners especially the hard core crowd should absolutely check it out.
