A faithful prequel to Final Fantasy 7. A truly wonderful experience.

The only complaint I have is Zack's hair change. Why'd you cut the purdy bangs, Zack!? T_T

When I played this I was swept away, more so than usual with a FF game. If you aren't touched by its story, you should probably re-wire your brain. If you have played the original FFVII then everything that happens means so much more to you.

The gameplay was great as well, what you'd expect for a PSP game, but with the touch of Final Fantasy Gold.

The best game on PSP. PERIOD. Battle system is excellent, with the DMW replacing the Limit Break System. Story is brilliant, however people who haven't played FFVII may miss a few things (there are a lot of hint hints).

if you haven't played FFVII yet, I recommend you play that first before starting this, otherwise you'll get mighty confused!

Lots of content for the hardcore gamer (currently 74% through side missions, played for 70hrs), otherwise only about 20hrs for the main story.

Most polished game I've played from Square Enix.

As a FFVII lover I must love Crisis Core ... Square-Enix has implemented a new battle system more dynamic than classic FF fighting system..
Now we can move out character and game gains an action feature.
Great story that bring us in depth characters background.
Graphics is very good (similar to FFX for PS2!) with great FMV scenes!
A must have!

The sequel to Square Enix' FFVII does much to illustrate the events that lead up to Cloud's first bombing mission with Avalanche. An interesting battle system, good tunes, and exceptional voicework make this a must own for any PSP fan.

Just WOW! What a brilliant PSP game!! If Square Enix ever decide to do a remake of the original FF7, please use this game engine! The graphics are probably the best I have ever seen on the PSP and the seamless integration with CG cut scenes was just fantastic.
At first I was a bit dubious about the combat system, but when I understood it, it was quite entertaining, especially when a good combo would come up on the DMW wheels. The music was also top notch.
Highly recommended to any PSP…
