There's nothing like the classics, and when it comes to fighting games, there's nothing more classic than Street Fighter. The hardest of the hardcore may complain about a simplified system, but with visuals this slick, character balance this tight, and all the appeal of Street Fighter, there's no reason to say this is the fighting game among fighting games.
Smashing new rendition of one of the most beloved of the classic 2D fighting games, brought to today's standards, in a truly wicked ink-brush art style. Not as approachable to beginners as I'd like, and there's no voice chat support.
Compared to the previous major Street Fighter game, Street Fighter 2 Turbo, this game had much more added and betters the replay value, while also keeping true to traditional Street Fighter controls.
Not a 5/5 game, it still lacks great features that have been used before in games, making this not as much of a groundbreak. Those features are: Tag-fighting, pick-up weapons, and creation modes.
