Borderlands is the definition of the grind. It just so happens it comes packaged in a neat FPS with RPG elements and an arsenal of guns. There's a story but the game uses it as a means of moving you from place to place rather than involving you in any narrative. The game shines with its multiplayer elements. Joining a crew for the bigger plunder is always a treasure.

The big plug about its arsenal of weapons is both true and false. There are a lot of the same looking…

This game is great! It's great because it has humor although alot of the humor is very adult but still funny. the online was very laggy at first but since the patch has calmed down quite a bit. Co-op is what the selling point of the game was and is and belive me it doesn't dissapoint. it is a huge game and also is a huge homage to games and movies such as shaft, mad max, diablo just to name a few. Wish it had been made a couple of…

Wow! this game really rocks. This game is fun, and will keep players occupied for a long time. But don't be fooled by its FPS looks is something more you will explore kill a lot of things. The best part is the amount of weapons and co-op play.

There are a lot of the same looking models of guns, but there are definitely untold amounts of special effects those guns can do. They also come in varying levels via color coding (familiar to you former Diablo players). Awesome if you plan to play online (especially with your buds), not quite as a single player game. « less
