One of the most infuriating games I have played in some time. While AC does have a lot going for it ,such as a nice open world and interesting story , the game has so many faults that the overall experience (for me) was a negative one.
The main problems are:
1. the frustrating combat system that seems to only work when it wants to.
2. The repetitive nature of the gameplay, which consists of gathering information, then assassinating a target. However once you have done one mission you pretty…

some people don't like the combat system but i thought it was fun the storyline kept me interested kinda a short game tho

Assassins creed was a great game for this new generation of gamers. The free roaming world was fantastic, and the characters were memorable. I believe anyone with a PS3 or even a 360 should pick this up, even if it is 3 years old.

The only good thing about this game is the ability to jump off the top of a building into a hay stack. that's fantastic.

Great game that raised the bar for open-world games on the next-gen console. While repetitive, I think the game was more of a proof-of-concept for the amazing things that can be done on todays systems.

While the graphics are stunning and the game itself raised the bar in regards to moving around in an environment, Assassin's Creed becomes repetitive quite early into the game. I eventually stopped playing and never finished the game because it became too repetitive.

Assassin's Creed was one of the most interesting games to come out in a long time. Let me get this out of the way. the Story is very interesting on all fronts however the ending has no sense of closure at all and only serves to set up a second game.

With that said the game play is very intuitive when it comes to running, jumping and climbing. you can climb just about any structure in the game. My only complaint about this is why couldn't I climb trees?…
