For those of you who still haven't played this game, how big was that damn rock you've been hiding under!? It must have been the rock of Silent Hill, which eats this game and eats it again, amy sound impossible, but it's RE4.... just trust me. The game stars 1/2 of the protagonist duo from Resident Evil 2, Leon Kennedy. Ole Leon doesn't work for S.T.A.R.S anymore, but instead, the government. I mean who wouldn't want Leon protecting us from a freaking Muslim. if he can take care of zombies...…

The first RE game I played, and I had a blast. Its fun to play, has great graphics (although I hear the Cube/WII was better). Its fun, long, and intense. Not for the faint of heat. But good times indeed. Its a long game, so its not the game you rent over the week end. Some may say that iti is too long, and I would agree; by the end, you are kind of tired of it. I hate horror games but I love this game. The story isn't that great but the gameplay is just great, wonderful shooter nothing like it. It feels clunky at first but it actually gets to be quite fun.

Resident Evil 4 took everything that made Resident Evils good and removed everything that made them bad to create one of the best PS2 games released. The control scheme is perfect for the situation, increasing the tension and hopelessness of the situation. RE4 will be remembered as one of Capcom's greatest.

But its still a good game, and I suspect you will enjoy your self so much that you will continue to play through it till the end. The upgrade system, and the long and well designed levels make this game a blast. Also I think it looks good on the ps2. THe cube/wii may be better, but if you don't have thoes, the ps2 still runs well. « less
