The game consists of a series of well-designed missions that require a carefully thought-out strategy. In between missions you must maintain your base and develop new technologies. I do prefer the first part in the series, although I can understand the designers' move to change the setting to a dystopian future, as this gives the whole franchise a new spin and offers many new enviroments to be exploited as levels. Interesting, but not one of my favourites.
