Like WoW, I found this one highly addicting. You definitely lose track of time when you play it. There's something satisfying about having someone's lives in your own hands.. Oh, if only my computer had a better graphics/video card.
It's really hard to shove all that's available in The Sims 2 into a neat packaged review. It is, however, easy to start rambling about all of the cool ass things that happen during the course of play. I've laughed so hard and been so disturbed that I simply have to recommend this game to anybody who was a fan of the The Sims. Even if you weren't, as I wasn't as much as some people, might find more to enjoy with this second installment.
Def. one of my top games of all time.
I can't exactly explain what makes this game so addictive, but Ill try. Whether you enjoy designing and building or creating interesting characters to see how their lives play out, you'll be satisfied.
Maxis has really put a level of detail into this game, that its really unbelievable (my favorites would have to be the autonomous actions specified towards personality. IE: Taking a sponge bath, eating out of the garbage can, staring out the window) . The addition of genetics and the ability…
If you are afraid of a man showing his feelings do not read any further !
For the others:
I adore the "Sims" series so much. I love caring for my little people and teaching the cute little babies to walk the walk and talk the talk. I have spent so many days in front of the screen caring for my families I almost neglected my own (not almost, I did). I am very much looking forward to the third installation of the series, cannot wait !
I have so much love in my heart for this game: the woo-hoo in the hot tub, the appalling misuse of the word "romance", and the inevitable bolstering of my God-complex . . . .this game just keeps on giving!
