SimCity Societies lost almost everything we loved about SimCity. They've gone for a more basic City Development for a more advanced happiness of Sims, and when it comes down to it, it was a bad approach. One of the great things about the original SimCity games, is that you could sit and watch your City develop into whatever you wanted it to be, or your skill allowed it to be. Now, however, if you want to 'upgrade' your city, you have to do it manually by removing what you dont want and putting in what you do want. Quite tedious if you have a big city. If I could bring one thing from this game into a previous SimCity, it would be the camera and that'd be it. And obviously the Graphics.

So Sad I got this for my old computer.We can say goodbye to the times it wud be like simcity4 -
It's not a bad game, if it stays open for more than 10 minutes. If you were really into the original Sim City games though, you probably won't like this one because it's radically different. It's like Sims meets Sim City.
