It's an okay game, lacks some of the awesome features it's ancestors had. Still fun though, however, for the full experiance, grab the two expantion packs ("Rollercoaster Tycoon 3: Soaked!" and "Rollercoaster Tycoon 3: Wild!") which unlock a whole new experiance.

As a standalone game, RCT3 is very capable and offers a fun experience while working through the career mode. The jump into 3D really makes your theme parks come alive, and being able to ride your attractions in first-person view is a lot of fun. There are some problems with the career mode, though. Some goals revolve around having VIP guests arrive in your park and experience certain requirements--a 6.0 Excitement roller coaster, for instance--but this can be hamstrung by bugs in the game. A VIP might leave the park…
