    Pros:
    sandbox play to a limited level, not like GTA nation travel (if it's true)
    being the ultimate zomibie ha ha ha!
    a true ultimate hero or villan

    Cons:
    most of the entire game is mutant or hand to hand to farming points to spend on upgrades that are hard to use on the PC!
    PC version is very sloppy coded (control wise)
    lack of multiplayer action
    lack of good use of weapons not mutant related
    deep in game disguise is pretty useless
    becomes a chore when avoiding military deep in game for just mutant guy killing
    videos of memory are unclear, mentions some terms by what the military calls him
    a extreme lack of haveing real scale objects on buildings, ammount of people, life like crime and normal life issues, and real life objects to make a building A: destructable and B: hard to climb, the climb could of been like infamous's building style
    a lack of special NPC's like the special infected and greater hunters
    redundant destruction on all scales
    pretty much like any of the superhero games in the past... like iron man or spider man

    overall score 1-10: 5 out of 10, -5 for basicly poor work on all ends. Stars 2 out of 5

    It’s incredibly, overcompensating fun. Prototype may have its issues, but none of them take away the great experience you have – the one you probably always wanted to have: being a super powered asshole in an open world game.
    Playing as Alex Mercer (btw, what a surname for a killer/monster/terrorist) is great, it feels incredibly easy to get along with all his movements, which makes the missions seem like they’re asking all of yourself.
    The story is excellent and I like the path it takes and the way it makes you feel for Alex. But the storytelling does not match the story quality, since there is no explicit climax.
    Something that also bugs me is the graphics. It’s not like playing previous generation game, but it’s far from being a next-gen one. I like Alex‘s animations though, very smooth and organic (just his).
    I really liked the audio part. The music is not that original or creative, but it sure is better than most of “epic themed” soundtracks, some movies may be jealous from it. But what I really liked is the ambient sounds and noises. It’s great to listen to people’s reaction from whatever you’re doing, from mumbles to collective screaming plus desperate military forces.
    In a nutshell: really fun, not brilliant. It may be less than GTA IV, but is “also something more”.

    Amazing sandbox style gameplay. Plot is a little weak, but whatever.

    I honestly didn't enjoy the game because of the fact that It didn't live up to the hype that everyone gave it. I really was disapointed to find it exclusively singleplayer. On the PC I had trouble for the longest time getting my XBOX 360 controller to work with it (not sure if other people had this problem)
    I also saw quite a few places that bothered me because the thought would always come into my head "they could have done such a better job"
    Although the game is a pleasurable game to play and does make onlookers go "wow" when you come down and completely slice someone in half, it did have aspects of it that bothered me.
    Also i'm usually the last one to complain about anything like this in video games but seriously keep your kids away from it XD
    this game is incredibly gory and violent. But overall id either rent it or get it for twenty bucks. but I wouldn't buy it right now.

    This is an awesome game, with a very large open world, you'll have hours and hours of fun with it. For those who say the gameplay it's not good, try playing using the MS Xbox 360 Controller, once you get used to the commands and learn some combos, it's just perfect! Best of the year after GTA IV so far.

    You'll be playing it for hours AFTER the story is complete, just to milk EP. So sandboxy that you won't get tired of it if you played for 12 hours straight.

    A game for real mens, if you can't keep up with the mayhem or you get frustrated because it's too hard for you, then you don't have the balls requiered to play Prototype.

    A really good therapy for all of us psychos.

    For this games minimum AA must be set @ 4x, 2x AA still give jagies... Don't set resolution to low & if you want high fps...do not enabled V-SYNC.

    This is great game, but still not perfect. There are much clone AI character & sometimes we bored play this game if we play it to long. btw activision success makes this game have great stability on explode effect.
