I have a shameful secret. I just didn't like this game. Ok let me qualify that. I acknowledge its a very well done puzzle game. Extremely original, and the cake song has win all over it. Just not my cup of tea. Ok shameful secret part 2, the later levels made my head hurt :)

For puzzle lovers its a must get, no doubt about that.

this game is one of the best puzzle games out there but it may not apeal to every one, I liked it but if you dont like to use your brain while you are playing games or just dont like puzzle games you may want to skip this one but if you are a casual gamer or and fps, 3rd person or any other kind of gamer you should atleast play this one trough once

I love it! Later levels made my head hurt but they also taunted me enough to keep trying until I figured it out. Portal is a great game to play when you want to exercise your brain for a while and take a break from the mindless violence in some other games (not that there's anything wrong with mindless violence!). :)

Portal brings creativity to puzzle games: it has an innovative play style, a fun plot, silly jokes, all wrapped up with eerie and sweet robot voices leading you around and luring you in. it was nauseating, trying to consistently regain my sense of direction, but well worth it!

it's much too short, but extra stages are provided if you need more action.

the end song, while i know was supposed to be funny, actually made me feel a bit emotional. so i guess Portal zipped me away and zapped me in, from…

This is one of the best games ever made
THIS GAME IS A MUST BUY

And even tho the singleplayer is short its still worth 20$
i have play through the game at least 6 times

It's Just so awesome Portal FTW :D

This was a triumph. I'm making a review here. HUGE SUCCESS.

The game has many little fun stuff, jokes too, that it's hard to not like this game. One of a kind and unique, all you do is make portals and do things with it. Walk through it. Look through it. Fall through it. Redirect things with it. Fling yourself or objects with it.

The game will be quite short for the adept and the smart ones out there. But regardless, this is…

It's a new, fun, style of gameplay never seen before. It's only few hours long but it's like a free addition to Orange Box and it's well worth the money. Just simply amazing.

Possibly the most innovative game on steam with many ways to make you think about the puzzle when the answer might be right in front of you. Also, It is worth much more than an addon to the orange box. Really hoping Portal 2 lives up to this game, being as simply complex as its predecessor.
