    Great game if you own Half-Life 2 but don't have the money or interest in buying Team Fortress Classic or TF2. There's a bit of a learning curve, and the community is pretty small, but it's fairly balanced and still fun to play.

    Team Fortress Forever is an improvement over the original, in some ways more than others. Grenade spamming is still a problem, however.

    A great mod with the severe misfortune to come out a week before the TF2 open beta. There's no comparing it to TF2, so let's compare it to TFC. Fortress Forever is an attempt to bring TFC onto the Source engine while retaining all that we have loved about it, and it succeeds. There are some minor changes and tweaks, but that's to be expected. The addition of ragdoll physics, combined with the high levels of explosives usually in play makes for a fun time, with ragdolls flying all about. And who doesn't love flying ragdolls? All-in-all, if you loved TFC, you're going to feel right at home here. Just don't mention TF2. The players tend to be a little... Opinionated.
