This is a very rewarding game, unlike that other game... WoW, you honestly feel like you deserve some of the things this game gives you. It gives you a sense of accomplishment that you can't get from any other MMO.

Didn't like it

Initially, feels like a standard MMO, but as soon as you reach a level that requires grouping, that's where the game fails.
Add to that Square Enix's weird account options (especially having your account removed after 3 months of no activity), I got turned off completely from ever trying this game again.
Also, grind grind grind....

This is another MMORPG I truly enjoyed. Though SE attempted many hit and miss strategies here, I commend them on their attempts and bringing so many unique features to this game. As expected, the story line was phenomenal, the game play decent, graphics okay and its special qualities exceptional.

I'm greatly looking forward to FF14, which seems to be the "Live" phase of FFXI, a game that though quite enjoyable, seemed to be a never ending beta test

Final Fantasy XI: Online the only true to date to give you access to MMO in any Platform. I started this game July 6, 2005, and I still play it to this day. Final Fantasy XI is not for the faint harded, MMO is challenge that we most North American Players hate. Japanese game that is Base 75% RPG 25% MMO. Its a true Final Fantasy to keep its roots. With 3 nations you decide the fate of your Character and what role they will…

I can't write as poetic as a review as DragonSama, but I do agree that this game is amazing. With a little research and registry editing, you can improve the graphics on this game a lot. The game only has a few default supported resolutions, but in the registry you can change them to whatever you want. This edit makes the game look much better than it does on the Xbox360 or PS2 by far. (I'm sure most of you PC gamers knew that already). …

The world of Final Fantasy comes on-line. this game came out before WoW and enjoyed a lot of popularity until WoW launched.

the Graphics are great, the music is great and the game play is good for a MMO as well. the Story is by far the best I have ever seen in any MMO including WoW

Be warned however FFXI is a grind Fest and you will be doing a lot of it. Also unless you are in a key class (WHM, RDM, WAR, PAL) you may have…
