First one was better, liked the tropical island more than a desert. Thought the fires aspect made things interesting, though the fires burnt out a bit quickly. The manned checkpoints were okay, except when you had just gone through a few minutes before & killed everyone just to have them all come back again (they came back to quick).
Resounding "meh". The graphics and guns are very pretty but the constant battle between random mercenaries every time you pass through a camp is extremely aggravating, especially when you need to go back the same way you came 5 minutes later. The map is HUGE, and is extremely tiresome to have to drive from point A to Point B and like I said passing through the same mercenary camp multiple times is just bad.. The Malaria part of the story, (no spoilers here don't worry, you get Malaria at the beginning of the game.), is just a ploy to extend the plot more and give you more things to do, like get missions for medicine because I guess it's impossible to come across Malaria medicine in Africa. Most if not all of the missions are just to go kill someone important to the story. This game gives you choices to choose how certain things will end. Example: You can choose Plan A or Plan B, and depending on which you choose certain outcomes will affect your entire game. Let me remind you this game is many hours long so a slight twist will just destroy everything you've done. It's another ploy to extend gameplay and replayability. You can acquire buddies to help do certain things for you in game but guess what? Once you kill your buddy, be it accidentally or getting killed in a fight, you lose him or her forever, FOREVER. I can't see myself playing this game more than once after what I went through, it's just not possible.
AMAZING, however... This would of been a really good game had it not been for the fact that it takes you 15 min to get to a mission that only takes 1 min to complete. And the Malaria effect... what's the point?
the graphic and sound quality are awesome.
