First one was better, liked the tropical island more than a desert. Thought the fires aspect made things interesting, though the fires burnt out a bit quickly. The manned checkpoints were okay, except when you had just gone through a few minutes before & killed everyone just to have them all come back again (they came back to quick).
Resounding "meh". The graphics and guns are very pretty but the constant battle between random mercenaries every time you pass through a camp is extremely aggravating, especially when you need to go back the same way you came 5 minutes later. The map is HUGE, and is extremely tiresome to have to drive from point A to Point B and like I said passing through the same mercenary camp multiple times is just bad.. The Malaria part of the story, (no spoilers here don't worry, you get Malaria at the…

Very good engine but the game is too boring, you have to walk very long distances shoot somebody. The action is very good but it takes to much time to happen. Besides that, the game have a very nice story and awesome physics implementation. My real rate for this game would be 2.5 stars.
Without a doubt, the "malaria" effect was the worst implementation of a plot device *ever.* The blurry camera and the jerky FPS style of the "malaria" made me actually queasy. I like games with a good plot, but not ones that make me sick...

At least, if you're only interested in traveling the landscape and setting things on fire. Combat itself isn't really a problem, rather it's the sheer number of people that want you dead. Namely, everyone that doesn't have a speaking part.
Pacing is nonexistent. Plot is vague, poorly driven, and leaves little to care about. That pretty much just leaves you with blowing things…
