There's something truly unspoken about a game like this. Icarus Studios presents a fresh title, dealing with a setting that has only spawned outcries of "Fallout 3 MMO". While that is TRUE in some cases (the post-apocalyptic setting and perhaps occassional enemy) there really are no similarities, only differences. The world is vast to put it one way, with hours upon hours of explorable terrain, missions are in a vast quantity (thousands), and although the leveling system is slow, there are many ways to level up and further your character. You can do missions, combat baddies, craft just about anything you want out of some household items, scavenge the wastelands for whatever you can find, or all of the above. The combat is entirely FPS style, and creates an improvement on the turn-based MMORPGS that so often fall short.
Although all of this is great, there are few flaws to note. The game requirements can be too high for most computers, and cause a little bit of lag. The newly released Fallen Earth also has some buggy and glitchy occurences, that often crash the client or get you killed. Otherwise, this is a great buy and I recommend it to anyone mature enough to handle it. :) 4/5
The game had a beta but it sure didn't seem like it, Very buggy, melee is weird in this game and the shooting is too. There's a hit rating for your bullets.... I hit people dead on and they don't take damage? I honestly wish i could get my 50$ back.
