My sentiments exactly Ravenhoe.

Ive tried to get into EQ2 about three times now. I last about a week at most. The game lacks an 'X' factor. I hear its very feature rich, but that art style is just bleh. High Polygons do not a pretty game make.

A great MMO that gives solid lore with great execution. It's a bit Memory and Processing heavy, so one will need to invest in large amounts of RAM and Processing speed to it to work at Maximum performance.

The game always is being updated and added to with large Tri-Monthly updates with a good chunk of content and new material. Solid MMO which I have played for about 2 Weeks. I cannot find anything wrong with it except the graphics which feel a bit dated (even back then) and uninspired, basically because the lore does not feel as good as other MMOs (AOC, WOW). Average

I've played EQ2 since internal alpha, and man has it come a long way, especially with the new Kunark expansion, it's worth a 2nd look if you haven't tried it since Kunark. You can check out my character here: http://tinyurl.com/3a8amz
