Burnout Paradise doesn't try fancy systems or realistic racing trends. No. It's about unadulterated, bad ass speed. Something you'll be getting as soon as you push down on the accelerator. It's about full contact racing, where the greatest thrill comes from putting your opponent down in a wreck of twisted, glorious metal.

Paradise City itself is a treat for the eyes, though you'll be seeing most of it going over 150 mph. What's also impressive is the collection of cars waiting to be acquired. Racing purists will likely vomit at…

As far as I know, Burnout has always been a console game. I have seen random videos of the game that looked quite entertaining but never paid much attention, as I generally dislike consoles. Burnout Paradise Ultimate Box is the best arcade racer on the PC. The graphics are beautiful and smooth. Very polished.

The Burnout: Paradise is a fantastic game in start, but after is boooring... Still the same - no diversity. But in my opinion this game isn't bad.

First Burnout for PC ever and looking great for its first appearance. It's a lot of fun for a damn long time. Kept me addicted for 200 hours and still going!

Paradise City itself is a treat for the eyes, though you'll be seeing most of it going over 150 mph. What's also impressive is the collection of cars waiting to be acquired. Racing purists will likely vomit at this arcade racer, but for those of you looking for pure, white-knuckle racing...well...can't go much further than this. However, Burnout Paradise's biggest weakness is repetition. The racing is fun, fast, and furious but you'll be committing to the same race types over and over. What's worse is that there is no race reset. Either finish first or don't finish at all. And if you do want to redo the race, you'll need to drive all the way back to the starting point. But by the time you head back, you'll likely find a new race anyway. A must play for people who just want to go really fast. « less
