BF2; The game that got me into online gaming and boy, what an impression it made. Even now BF2 is one of the kings of online warfare and will probably continue to be until Battlefield 3. An all time great.

    my favrit game of all time. i always wanted to play with allot of other people but 64? online? fun and no lag? it was amazing. hell it is amazing. i had played for something around 150 hours on the unmodded version. but not i moved on to project reality, an amazing mod but only for the hard core realistic gamers.

    In the realm of serious online shooters, nothing quite compares to Battlefield 2's accessibility and entertainment value. For a game with such a vast following, the community remains relatively friendly and there is always room for new players. Whether you're taking to the skies in a jet, rumbling across the meadows in a tank, crawling through the undergrowth as a ghillied-up sniper or issuing orders as a commander, Battlefield 2 is non-stop adrenaline.

    The game is very fun, but it's hard to find a sever that doesn't have a very high ping or isn't full.

    Also, not very balanced, leaves alot of room for spawn killing.

    Doesn't hold a candle to the Desert Combat mod of 1942, but is still probably my favorite official modern Battlefield game to date.

    One of the most addictive FPS games I've ever played. Not for the Counter Strike junkie. This is a strategy game with squads, VOiP, and battlefield commands. Flying jets, helicopters, or just being infantry.. It's all good!

    Quite a revolution in FPS gaming when it came out. I moved to BF2 from Joint Operations: Typhoon Rising. Classed infantry and vehicular action. The 1.4 patch totally killed the game by introducing infantry only. Good vehicle servers are few and far between.

    Battlefield 2 (BF2) was my third game in the realm of Military theme first person shooters (FPS). Before BF2 there was Rogue Spear, and Medal of Honor Allied Assault. Obviously BF2 is a much more intense game than either of those, and I am very pleased with it. It is (5) stars all day long in my book.
