I loved this game!! I think the main reason it did not catch on was that you really didn't need to group to do most of the missions so you were basically paying to play a single player game. Also the innovative game play may have put off many players who were used to the Tank-DPS-Healer formula of other MMO's.

Oh Loyal Fans of Auto Assault, how I know your pain. We all miss this unique MMO from Net Devil and NCSoft. Its been nearly 2 years since it shut down now
