  • WoW is a great game. The only reason I gave it 4/5 is because I'm a casual player, and probably won't experience a lot of end-game content because I wouldn't have time to be in a raiding guild.

  • In World of Warcraft, players enter a dangerous world of shifting alliances and questionable humanity. They choose a starting faction and then must work their way through various conflicts of interest in order to progress.

    You start your adventures in the Zone of Endless Fourth Grade, where 10-year-olds who seem to think they're getting somewhere in the game hang out, call each other names, beg for gold, and generally act like they would when they lack adult supervision. Struggle your way through random requests to party up, join guilds or sign guild charters, and make your way through quests and finally end up at the gates of the capitol city, only to be challenged by the zone's end boss, The Guy Always Out There Dueling.

    Assuming you don't lapse into a sort of unrecoverable state of despair over the pointlessness of polygonal life, you will go on to other zones, full of things to do and places to see. But you will face many dangers on your way, such as:

    * The Pick-up Group, seemingly benign, but full of conflicting expectations.
    * Roaming herds of Lagbeasts, casting spells of Slowness on your entire experience.
    * Nigh endless references to Chuck Norris.
    * Memories of high school come back to haunt you, only defeated once you tune out from the Trade channel.
    * The Looter Ninja Clan!
