Nintendo's thematic action-adventure sequel to Ocarina of Time takes the series back to its more cartoonish roots. Utili more »zing a completely new look with cel-shaded graphics, the game casts players in the role of a familiar young boy, who sets out to save his kidnapped sister. Gameplay is vintage Zelda, only that the game's overworld is covered by water. Players have to control the direction of the wind to sail across the ocean and find dungeons, towns, and plenty of secrets. it's fun and oh it's so cute! but it's ment more for kids than the other zeldas. this one is more light harted and fun to play. but the worst part of this game is the boat. it is so annoying! but get over than and it's a tun of fun.

This game stops just short of becoming a masterpiece like the Zelda before it Ocarina of Time.

Levels are lush and inviting, the characters are bold and unique. Gameplay is intuitive and fluid and the story is captivating.

However there are two big problems with Wind Waker that sully the experience.
The first being the rather boring sailing sections. While sailing the wide sea in WW was at times a majestic experience, in the early portions of the game I found I could set links little boat in the direction…

This is definitely one of the best games I've played since I was a kid. I remember is being really extensive in storyline and it made you wonder on what would happen next... it gave me alot of anxiety. If you've never played any zelda game, I would recommend this one to start off with.

This is one of the most intrinsic games I've played since I was a kid. I know lot of people didn't really respond well to the game, which I suppose has something to do with the style it was set in, but if you actually sit down and try playing the game, the storyline is very important and you find out it has a lot to do with the mysterious time line Miyamoto has created for us. Graphics take some getting used to, but it's a good game with classic zelda qualities.
