I played this game a ton with my wife. It was her first Mario Kart and we really got into the coop play. A very fun installment to be sure. I wish there had been online play, but alas that was before the true age of online gaming.

The weakest of the Mario Kart games and this is mainly due to the dull track design which is the back bone of this type of game.
Still a bit of fun but why not play Mario Kart 64 instead?

Everything about this game rocks, seriously. The co-op play makes the game.
