The loot system in this game is amazing, being able to see you character drastically change at the change of you helmet etc. is just amazing. Repetetive yes, but it doesn't mean it isn't fun. The story is interesting and the graphics are pretty good. This games major flaw is the camera. The right-stick likes moving the camera for you and because this has been mapped for combat there is an auto-camera which seems pretty cinematic at times... but not good when hordes of robot goblins are racing to tear your head off...
If you do get your head torn off be ready to watch about 20-30 of a valkyrie appearing and taking you up to heaven. After this you respawn miles away from combat and with Baldurs slow movement this can get annoying at times. Apart from these little niggles the game is good and can be enjoyed by most. Just hope they can top this one with the sequel.
Pretty ok game. I was addicted my first playthrough, but I didn't pay any attention to the storyline. What was great was that it all made sense at the end, even though I didn't pay attention.
Gameplay wise, moving was slow and took a long time to get from place to place, and battles were a bit drug out. I liked the class-system and how you could have an enormous choice for your customization.
It's not so bad. It's entertaining although quite repetitive. The differences among weapons are not readily available and the story is weak. However it can still get addicting and finding the hidden rooms and the challenge rooms are pleasant.
Even though flawed at points, the game's plot is interesting (albeit not too surprising if you know your stuff about Norse mythology) and the combat is satisfying once you get the hang of it. Get ready to die a lot, though, before that.
I love this game because it reminds me of PSO for the Xbox. Idk if thats what they were going for but With PSU out being as bad as it is this is a nice replacement for my Much loved PSO:)
It's a good action game. But can get a little repetive at times. The cameera control isn't the best. And the dying part and being resurrected gets annoying after a while.
It is an underrated game. I am not much of an RPG/Action game, but this game is well made. Some of the level do drag out though. The character leveling system is superbly done. It allows you to just about fully customize your character.
