Considering that this game has 2 difficulties...normal and realistic....its very hard at times, forcing you to take cover and think about where to send your men, who to take out first, and how you should try to stay alive. Although unforgiving at times, making you replay large sections of the game after a death, it is a rewarding experience and is the most realistic, and probably one of the most enjoyable fps around these days. the graphics are good, nothing new but real good. It's a basic shooter, really. There's a great cover system, the controls overall work well, and commanding your team members makes the game seem a bit more tactical than other FPS games. It's still hard to find anything revolutionary about R6 Vegas. Checkpoints are sometimes placed a bit too far, your squad may shoot walls instead of enemies and it's a bit too streamlined for my tastes. If you get it cheap, it's a good choice.

After several disappointing sequels, Ubisoft Montreal redeemed themselves by going in a new direction with Rainbow Six.

The games new cover-system, action-packed single-player, and addictive multiplayer makes this a must for any tactical shooter fans.

Loved it, just wish they would get away from JUST being in Vegas. They need to get back to their old style of being all over the world and different places. Missions were getting too long as well.

Compared to Vegas 2, this seems like rubbish. But it's still good, great multiplayer, especially the servers. But the storyline was boring.

I suggest you buy Vegas 2 instead, they're both fairly cheap now.
