I was a good concept on paper but somewhere it just went wrong. The battle system was a real love hate thing, while I thorouly enjoyed the turned based aspect of it I absolutly hated how you couldn't give your units the same commands all of the time, for example on one turn you may be able to use magic and the next you don't get the option to for god knows what reason. There were quite a few graphical flaws in the game. And I still don't know what is going on in the story (why did the king of athlum decide to help the young protaganist rush find his sister) the simple answer is who knows. And for the love of god why does every other screen have to be a loading screen, I mean I bet I spent more time in a loading screen than I did actually playing the game. I did like the character designs for the most part (really didn't like the giant fish people), the game soundtrack was okay, and the ability to battle a hoard of enimes at once was kinda fun at first (the ability to fight 100 enimes at once. awesome!) that was me before I got board with the once kinda fun battle system. I can't tell you how many times i've actually fallen asleep trying to finish a battle becasue it was soooo boring. I really wanted this game to work, it look amazing when it first came out. But that just goes to show that looks can be decieving.
A great rpg, despite a few graphical flaws, the game is enjoyable given the chance, for my full video review, go to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ouin1CukoM0
