This game is phenomenal, perhaps the best game i have ever played. For its time, Oblivion was ground breking and really showed off what the xbox 360 could do early on. Bethesda created a game that the player could spend hundreds of hours on without getting bored, exploring Having only had my Xbox a year i picked this game up earlier this year. The first mission, where you must escape from the imperial sewers did not hook me on this game. But after coming back to it i have…

Really Long....

This game was the reason why I got a 360. There's just so much to do and so much to see, this is one of those game where I consider it an "experience" rather than just playing a game. You can customize your character however you want, wear anything you want or even run around the city in your undies if you wanted to *lol* There's just so much to do it can be overwhelming the first time you play, I know I was. I don't normally care for graphics…

Hands down, one of the greatest games of all time. You can go anywhere, anytime. It's nice to have such freedom in a videogame.

Oblivion has plenty of flaws (like the absurdly awful voice acting and its many bugs), but its atmosphere, deep design, gameplay, animations, story and vast side quests more than make up for it. It's hard to pinpoint what exactly Bethesda did right, but playing this game fills me with joy and satisfaction. I've been gaming for over 20 years and this is one of my very favorite games.
