Great game once you get used to the camera speed itll help you see what you need to when you need to. WILL GROW ON YOU + GREAT STORY TELLING

This is NOT a game that loves the source material. If anything it's a mean spirited joke on anyone who enjoys Spider-Man and the surrounding Marvel universe.

So far its not half bad. The best iteration of Spidey i've played on a next gen console. The combat is fluid - you can button mash or give a little more consideration to your tactics if you wish. Cut scenes are implemented well and it has a nice comic feel to it. I'm not sure its up there with Marvel Ultimate Alliance but its a worthy stop gap until Ultimate Alliance II is released. I will come out and say it straight off, so I get it out of the way. I'm a huge spidey-fan.

As soon as I got my first 'Ultimate Spider-Man' as a young teenager, I was hooked on the webheads quips and retorts. Not to mention his teenage life related with mine.

So imagine my sheer glee when I gain news that there's a next-gen spidey game being released, and to top it all off, it's free roam and you can punch anyone in the face.

Far better than Spider-Man 3, longer than Ultimate Spider-Man, fantastic animations and well-constructed battle system. First time I've genuinely enjoyed combat in a Spidey game.

I recently wrote a blurb about Crackdown, and figured that since I'm in the genre of action, role-playing, free for all games, I might as well include SpiderMan Web of Shadows in the fray.

My friend let me borrow the game, and in about a week (20-25 hours) I finished the game with 820 pts. Those that I missed were related to replaying the whole game again, or collecting all 'collectibles'.
