SC4 brings a lot to the table. After picking up and playing Street Fighter 4 (disappointing) and being greeted with a mp lobby for only two people (no multi-person support) I went back to SC4 where it is supported by default.
Soulcalibur IV is a lot of fun and I highly recommend it, especially -- as I said before -- to fans of the series. The game runs well, looks beautiful, sports great music and obviously has enjoyable combat. In the end, both are worthy members of a long-standing series and you won't be disappointed with the purchase.
I've played various fighting games over the years and they either weren't for me, or were too hard. Soulcalibur IV has very crisp graphics and a very awesome character selection. Having Yoda was a nice touch, and being able to download Darth Vader from the marketplace was also pretty sweet. I'd definitely recommend this game to anyone, even if you aren't a fan of fighting games!
This is pretty much the same game it has always been with a twist - YODA! Yoda is pretty cool to play with but I hated playing against him because I found him harder to hit with some of the characters I love to play with because he is so low to the ground ;) Which of course is an advantage when you play as him. I personally LOVE that it is basically the same game as it has always been - the game that I have always loved.…
A true achievement.
