If you have 4 hours to spare babysitting / bored then this will make time fly quite nicely. The changes over time from mere warriors to military gunmen is nice - Subs, gunships and even planes and eventually H-bombs are available. Nice and easy to get into and quite entertaining once you have conquered your first city takeover. Not a game I'd expect to be sticking on in a peak gaming time but in a spare afternoon on your own it is quite rewarding. -
While I miss some of the experiences that didnt translate from 4 to Revo, I love this game enough to have played it several times through.
Pro: Makes Civilization fans happy while branching out to other players
Con: Agressive AI makes a peaceful playthrough nearly impossible as youre almost always set in an endless war. Especially on Deity mode. -
