PROS
Export 55/58 songs from RB1 for a small fee.
DLC Interoperability with both games.
Wealth of DLC available
Rock Band Network allows bands, music labels, etc. to make their own tracks available for Rock Band players.

CONS
Not a whole lot of people online who have DLC you've got.
This especially goes for the people dumb enough to not even have the FREE DLC. It's called the MUSIC STORE for a reason.

This game is great to play with your friends especially if you have a few beers around. This game is awful if you live in an apartment. I happen to fall under the ladder and had to give it up. Content constantly updates to keep the game fresh and the ever expanding library for a nominal fee is quite stellar.

An excellent tme waster that gives player the best 'rock star' experience avaliable. Music selection is great and the world tour mode is near flawless. If it's between this and Gutair Hero, def go with this one.

Finally a game that will make Guitar Hero bow down to them. With their idea of adding drums and vocals, 300+ downloadable tracks, Rock Band 2 is one of the top 5 party games on the market. Also to be supported by azuritereaction, GuitarHeroPhenom, IBitePrettyHard, and many more famos people. :)

This game is definitley a step up from guitar hero. This game incorporates a bunch of things, such as being able to play as a four person band. If your gonna have some friends over this is definitly one of those games that you could play. The one draw back it has is the detection of the drum kit, you'll be rockin' your face of and then you'll hit the pad and it doesn't detect the hit, by far the most annoying part of the game, but still loads…

Good game, but the music games are a little old, and being that they keep just coming out with new "rock band" games and include better instruments in each bundle and expect you to pay 200+ dollars for each one is a little displeasing. I still have the Rock Band 1 instruments and it takes away from the "fun" factor because my drums are horrible....I also think if you pay at least 60.00 for just the title and use your old instruments, there should be more reasonable prices for…

This game is best for people who enjoyed Guitar Hero and want more. In my opinion it's best to play GH before this because if you play this first then you will go into GH with a negative feel. Rock Band 2 is all the good points of Guitar Hero and improves it. The soundtrack is really good with a wide choice of music, from older bands like The Who to more newer bands like Linkin Park. Anyone who wants more of their type of music can download songs online…

This game is really enjoyable and opened my ears to new music I thought I'd never like. The band play is fun with friends have it be a get together, Online, Party, or just hanging with some friends. The game is sure to bring fun when playing with other people. The only downside is the repetitive list of songs that you have to play and it gets tiring thats pretty much all. Oh I recommend the split strum bass guitar for people who are really serious about this game.

if you have the money to shell out for DLC the game is just an endless treasure trove of amazing songs. there's no reason not to have this game if you love music and like playing music unless you're one of those elitist people who insist people buy an actual guitar and take years out of their lives to learn songs like painkiller and constant motion when they could just take a couple months to get on expert and tap some buttons without having to learn frets, chords, blah blah…
