Great fun sequel though I'd prefer less wandering the castle fortress... -
The loveable minions, Helarious charters and enemies will keep you wanting more of this lovley mix of Pikmin and Fable. -
Overlord II first gives the impression that it will give the player only a very short experience, but let me tell you my friends, it is far more than just a casual game. The main quest is rather short, certainly, but before completing all the sidequests and finding all the items you will certainly be playing this game for a week at the least.
Overlord II would best be defined as a strategy game for the very casual gamer. -
Overlord II is the sequel to Overlord. This is a unique game in which the player controls not only the main character the Overlord, but his comedic little gremlin-like minions as well. The story has that the Overlord battling against the Glorious Empire, which seems to be based of the Roman empire, that is on a mission to destroy all that is magic. You'll love the same humor that is constantly present, the amazing graphics (even better than the first!), and the unusual puzzles, and upgradable minions.
You might not like the new minion control scheme and slightly worse camera.
All in all, a must play. Anyone who played the first and enjoyed it should pick this up immediately.
