Overlord II (360)

LilPips's review for Overlord II (360)

Overlord II (360)

Overlord II improves on every facet of the original, always to good effect. The game also adds a few new features, which unfortunately are hit-and-miss.

You'll love the same humor that is constantly present, the amazing graphics (even better than the first!), and the unusual puzzles, and upgradable minions.

You might not like the new minion control scheme and slightly worse camera.

All in all, a must play. Anyone who played the first and enjoyed it should pick this up immediately.

  • Overlord II first gives the impression that it will give the player only a very short experience, but let me tell you my friends, it is far more than just a casual game. The main quest is rather short, certainly, but before completing all the sidequests and finding all the items you will certainly be playing this game for a week at the least.

Overlord II would best be defined as a strategy game for the very casual gamer.
