Great game made great by the original Mass Effect.

Bioware took the best from Mass Effect and worked on the not so good parts and made them better for Mass effect 2.

Insanity difficult is harder than the original Mass Effect and worth the challenge if you can beat it.

This sequel manages to improve on all aspects over the original: better graphics, better dialogues, memorable characters and missions. Even if the campaign builds on freedom, some key events are imposed on the player at some time and make him feel that the galaxy has a life and schedule of its own. While the combat and RPG elements are very simplified, this game does not feel shallow and concentrates on the most important aspect: the immersion and fun.

Not a lot of sequels live up the first game, but Mass Effect 2 does that and more. It's a 100% must for any RPG fan, but don't let that get you down, Mass Effect 2 is a great game for any crowd. If you haven't played this game yet, then don't waste your time and money on anything else, Mass Effect 2 is a must buy! (considering you played the first game)

Talk about taking something great and making it amazingly better. Mass Effect 2 took all the right steps into becoming the the greatest game I have ever played, so far. The import your save file from the first ME was genius. If you're like me you put in TIME to your RPG's and so being extremely familiar with the first game makes ME2 all the more better. The story is so intensely involving and unlike the Fable series (which I also like) you feel a genuine sense of empathy towards your character. After playing the first game all the way through and importing my character and experiences into the second game (really cool feature BTW) I was genuinely both shocked and saddened at the opening events of the second but soon felt elated as the game progressed. this series enables the player to develop a very personal relationship with the characters. every time i witness the unveiling the Normady in ME2 i get all misty eyed. it's frakkin beautiful!
