I can't say I'm a fan of sports games, really...But watching my friends play this game is almost as good as watching an actual game. It might be better, since there aren't any commercials.

This was the best improvement to Madden since Madden NFL 2004! The gameplay is cleaned up, the animations are a little glitchy but add a better environment into the game, and the online franchise mode (which was long awaited) was well worth the wait. Usually, it is like pulling teeth when it comes to shelling out $65 for another installment of Madden, when it's similar to the last, but this one is THE Madden of the Decade! Well worth the retail price! -

Madden NFL 10. Those words alone get people excited. I'm not one to brag, but when it comes to Madden, I sort of dominate. I know my way in and out of every play. That said, Madden 10 does have it's flaws. Some choppy animations at times and hit stick delay can cause one bad play to turn into a really good one. Welcome additions such as: Frequent stat updates, crowd cutscenes, and the chain gang now improve on Madden's broadcast style presentation. Not all is well in that department… -
A big improvement from the '09 version. AI is smarter and the animation looks great. Game has more of a sim feel to it which I'm a big fan of. Highly recommend to all NFL fans. -

Best Madden released in years. Graphics have been stepped up a bit. Gameplay is a bit slower, which definitely adds to the realism. Still some nagging issues that should have been cleaned up LONG ago, so until they fix that stuff, the five star rating will continue to elude this game where I am concerned. This is a no brainer pick up for any fan of the series. -
Easily the best Madden to date thus far. Although, there are a few minor annoyances for me overall the game is very solid. The slower game speed really makes the game feel a lot less arcadey and more like you are really playing a in a football game. Presentation is mostly solid, although the half time and weekly reports need a little more work.
And and EA, it is about time you got accelerated clock back into the game. Seriously, why did you ever take it out? -

Madden 10 comes Superbowl ready offering deep play options like online Franchise and great player updates to keep lineups and players as real as possible. So what keeps it from a 5 out of 5 is a few mere flaws 1)Superstar mode needs a NCAA 10 like make over and more story lines. 2) Off-season could use the polish of the NHL 10 & NHL 2k10 as far of player signings and deals with agents plus a overhaul to trades during and before draft time. Solid soundtrack and great graphics… -

Ok I want to give this 5 stars, however, it isn't perfect yet. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE this game, but it can still be improved. The new Pro-Tak system is great, I love the online franchise, however it still needs improvement, doing the draft with friends is VERY time consuming and I don't see the point of having to sit through all the computer controlled teams drafting when they take 3 secs each.....it gets to the points to where you draft your starters then get up… -
My favorite 360 game so far. It's a shame that I suck so much at this game. The game play is extremely realistic. My only complaint is that it doesn't do a very good job teaching me how to get better at the game. I hope one day I can beat those kids on xbox live.
