Thought this was a rather...bland rpg. The beginning of this story couldn't keep my attention too well. I stopped playing somewhere around the end of disc 1 or the start of disc 2, Im not too sure. There are far better rpg's to be played, I recommend you find another one unless you've got nothing better to do.

Lost Odyssey proves that a turn-based RPG still has merit in modern gaming. While there is nothing in Lost Odyssey that will convert action-RPG fans, there is plenty to please those already singing in the choir. Lost Odyssey creates several memorable characters and a somber setting that should please those sick of JRPGs that seem made for 10-year-olds. There are quite a few things that go wrong -- from the bad stealth portion to performance issues -- but none of it kept me from enjoying the overall adventure. It may…

The story is so great that this is me spelling out that this is a great game for a second time. couldn't retrieve old tag so using this one, the story is so well written though I felt that I needed spell once more with new ID that this is a great game my untracked gameplay totals in the 200 sometin hours. third time trough.

Beautiful, beautiful game. It's absolutely perfect. Incredibly deep storyline, intriguing characters, terrific voice acting, beautiful graphics, and moving music. A must for any RPG fan.

I find this to be a really great game. The story is like a great book and how it's able to tug on your emotions is how well writtten the story is. The gameplay is really good for a turn based rpg you acquire skills in a inovative way that has you play with all story members and the rings to help deal damage and the ring timer to keep your attention while the battle is going is cool, once you get the timing right.

If Final Fantasy X and Star Ocean IV had a baby, it would be this.

I know, I know, Final Fantasy was a Squaresoft franchise and Star Ocean was an Enix franchise, but seriously if you loved both games & want to see the epitome of what SquareEnix's conjoined assets created it would be this. It's an awesome awesome game. Complex & innovative. IT'S 4 DISKS LONG!

Trust me, you won't be able to put it down.

I wish more JRPGS followed this model. Have a detailed story, but allow the player to actually play the game, rather than just fight bosses between cutscenes.

The battle system felt a bit awkward at first, but, once I got used to it, fights were enjoyable. That's really my only semi-complaint.

If you ever wanted to nearly replace the love of FF 7 in your hearts its this game. I fell in love with it so quickly its been like a book I refuse to put down. Best party, no whiney emo main characters, and at lest one of the females isn't spilling out of her outfit, neither of which giggle and flip their hair. Its got a great combat system and having the immortals learn their talents from the mortals in their group? Priceless. Of course this makes the characters…
