The Lord of the Rings: Conquest puts players into the thick of the tremendous battle over The One Ring, playing out batt more »les from both sides of the confrontation! Conquest will let players take control of many of the characters and creatures from the series and pit them on any of the franchise's famous battlefields. From Cave-trolls to Oliphaunts to the Balrog and even Sauron, practically the entire universe will be available for battle with up to 150 characters on-screen at any one time. Up to 16 players will be able to clash online, with four players able to play cooperatively through the main campaign either online or via four-player split-screen. And with two distinct campaigns to play through, including an original take on what would happen if Sauron regained control of the One Ring, the game promises plenty of scenarios to wage battle through. « less

Fun, but very short game. Boring multiplayer, easy achievements.

terrible game, no where near what the movies were like, poor movement, small battles when they are supposed to be EPIC like helms deep, small online maps nothing like battlefront was like which they should have made Star Wars Battlefront 3

- Good Graphics

- Too Short in Campaign

No challenge what so ever. I had bought this game in the high hopes that it would rival the playstation versions but it falls incredibly short. Things just got waaaay too repetitive and my boyfriend and I were able to finish it in a measly 3 hours. Didn't even bother with online, traded the game in the next day.

Lord of the Rings: Conquest is the most recent big game to be made by Pandemic, creators of the Star Wars Battlefront Series. Lord of the Rings: Conquest is focused mainly around the unit classes and their gameplay, choosing the right unit in a certain situation can be vastly rewarding. Overall gameplay is up to par, bringing in a few combos for melee units and special abilities for the supporting units. You can gain control of ents and trolls, which can be amusing for a while.
