The lack of songs and buggy singing system makes this game a rent once, or for parties. It does have the ability to import your own music, but you can't see the lyrics or get an honest score. Don't expect much from this game.

it's fun to do the singing. The interface is terrible though. The lack of any way to control the interface with the mics is stupid.

It is slow and buggy, as others have said. It's particularly bad at dealing with large external mp3 libraries. I only have about 5000 songs and the UI locks up for a minute plus every time i try to access it. Maybe they thought nobody would really use that feature, since there are no lyrics; but most of the songs that come with it/are purchaseable…

amazingly fun as are all the singing games across platforms and consoles however i dont think this offers anything more than singstar hence only 3 stars,

amazing for parties etc

It's fun to play but I wish you could see how off you really are with your singing. It can be buggy at times and slow at loading screens. But it's a great game to play if you have a group of friends and would like some karoeke.

Some recomondations for Lips 2 (or 3)

I wish it could connect to Media Monkey - MiniLyrics too, so you could really enjoy karaoke through you xbox

It would also be nice to have a better interface, the Lips interface uses too large images and is very buggy

Awe come on - who doesn't enjoy wailing into a mic after a few sherberts. The set play list that comes with the box is a bit limited but what makes this worth every penny is the ability to use your own music through a USB connection. Its also getting a lot of DLC support.

You can use your own MP3s via USB drive. It is fun to play.
