I'm a huge fan of Van Halen and having this is great. Just wish it would have 1) included Michael Anthony and 2) Hagar-era tracks. Not having such great tracks as "Poundcake," "Right Now," "Humans, Being," etc. is a tragedy.

That being said, like the other band-specific Guitar Hero titles, if you're not a big fan of the band, the game's other tracks aren't going to be enough to pique your interest, nor justify purchase of the game.

Anybody who picked up Guitar Hero 5 shortly after release had the chance to snag Guitar Hero Van Halen for free through a promotion. They got what they paid for. For everybody else that might be looking to Guitar Hero Van Halen in stores, stay away. No effort was put into making it good. It’s a step backwards for the franchise and a totally unnecessary release.

This game is... okay. It's got Van Halen in it, some Van Halen, that is. Very bad graphics and no new features. Thankfully, I didn't pay for it, and I hope no one else did.

basicly GH Metallica reskinned (though not as well)

It's challenging to say the least, but not worth the 60$USD when it becomes available to everyone.

Feels Like a Real Quick, Cheap Game. It Feels Like GH:WT But With Van Halen Stuff All Over The Game. Good Thing I Got this Game For FREE!

Its just like GH Aerosmith comes with 24 VH tracks and 19 guest tracks.
