Come on! No "Jump In the Fire", "Blackend" or "The Four Horsemen"?? I guess ya can't have every song, but I wish they woulda split it into 2 games: classic and heavy, new and weak. I could live without every single post "...And Justice For All" song myself, and know many other like-minded metallers. And why the hell do they continue having Black Metal characters and no real Black Metal tracks (Mercyful Fate the nearest exception, and not that butchery Metallica calls a medley!)??? Not even the popular stuff like Cradle of Filth or Dimmu Borgir?? Come on!!
All petty bitching aside, it's a fun game, decent tracks--SLAYER!!!!!!!--good visuals (Holy Crap! King Freakin' Diamond in a video game! I worship The King!), and I dug the factoids, vids, and other extras. Just enough crap songs that I felt I had to suffer through to complete the game to make it a 4 instead of a 5 in my eyes...er, ears.
Just an amazing game, lots of fun. Fixed the problems with World tour, every song is good. Even though they missed out a lot of great Metallica hits (Ride the lightning) and other great catchy tunes they put out over the years (Carpe diem baby). Lots of fun, all the songs are synced to the characters you see on screen, the venues are amazingly detailed and the character models actually look like the members of Metallica. There's no reason why a Metallica fan would not love this game, or even any music fan that has a taste for metal.
A for sure buy as you'll find you self playing it over and over again, online and offline.
The game to buy if you love the Guitar Hero franchise and if you are a Metallica/Metal fan! Also with Expert+ and double foot pedals, this brings drummers more difficulty if they found expert too easy for them.
