Desolate and despairing with handsome helping of sombre on the side. This is how I find the atmosphere though out the game. I must admit this a truly new experience for me when it comes to racing-adventure games. I don't seem to take well to the nocturnal free roaming bits at all. As an arcade racer Fuel does a good job presenting a variety of racing options with a large selection of vehicles. The starting vehicles do suffer from handling issues, but it is very possible to quick collect a few more vehicles to handle the tougher challenges. The default camera position does not relay the actual sense of speed making the game a little easier. Clicking the right thumbstick twice will give you a first person or hood cam mode which makes driving a blast and much harder. The game does…

5000 sq. miles! If I really wanted to drive for that long I'd take a roadtrip. But if you use the race maker to move around, this game is quite a bit more entertaining.

Open worlds have nothing on this game imagine the GTA map times 20 and you will start to understand the pure scale. You can choose to drive across the map or simply transport, which is easier as driving there will take a real amount of time I haven't tried it but I'd say at least 5 -6 hours to drive across the map maybe more. It isn't perfect or by any means a simulation but if you were thrown into a post apocalyptic environment with mad max vehicles at your disposal, you'd have a great time right?
