Frontlines: Fuel of War (360)

The first project for Kaos Studios (a division of THQ founded by veterans of Trauma Studios, creators of Desert Combat a more »nd Battlefield 2 R&D projects), Frontlines: Fuel of War uses the advanced Unreal 3 engine for futuristic, intense fights in an open-world battlefield. In this all-too-bleak future of constant wars over natural resources, two sides compete for global supremacy: the Western Coalition (the United States and the European Union) and the Red Star Alliance (Russian/People's Republic of China). The game's nonlinear single-player campaign has players advancing their side's frontline into enemy territory. « less

Didn't like it

the only thing that was good about the game was the story mode. what made me mad was that no matter what the difficulty was in story mode, fighting the enemies was no easier, in fact i think the difficulty only changed how fast you recovered your health. playing online completely sucked. from what ive been told, you can play pc players on xbox live which is cool, but like i said, it sucks. there's basically no way to play a ranked match if its already started, and people noob…

This is one of the most underrated games around. Considering is not the newest FPS around, Frontlines: Fuel of War manages to deliver a very good fast-paced gameplay, very decent visuals and amazing sound effects. Online gameplay just feels fine and it is very good. Single player campaign plot is also good and it's scary how similar to current events is. It is an excellent FPS that every FPS enthusiast should play and have in their collection.

Like Battlefield but not. Not to say it's bad, quite the oppisite.
Singleplayer's a bit dull but the multiplayer battles can be quite massive, which lag pending is awesome.

This game is a must play for any FPS fan and esp those of the modern day game simulations. Mix this gameplay with CoD4 & GRAW2 and you have the perfect army shooter!

This game is great and is hugely under appreciated. It is the true sequel to Battlefield 2 made by the developers of the Desert Combat mod. The maps are great, the community is solid and the developers continually support this gem with new maps, weapons, vehicles and have increased the player limit from 32 to 50. Highly recommended.

If you like military first person shooters, this is a game you will definitely enjoy. Being able to use R/C mini-choppers to wipe out enemies from above or robots to machine-gun them is very fun... but for the same reason, the game is a little too easy in some parts (even playing at hard difficulty).

The storyline is good and coherent... even credible if you see the news these days... but the single player is way to short for my taste... It took me only a weekend to finish it... and…
