On October 2nd of the year 2007, 360 gamers were treated with a next-gen version of the FlatOut series. FlatOut Ultimate Carnage is a game where street and offroad racing meld together into a perfect racing shake. I first got hooked on the FlatOut series with FlatOut Head On on the PSP system. After I bought my 360, I knew Ultimate Carnage was a must-buy.

A little too arcade-ish for my liking. Destroying objects to acquire boost seems counter-productive and inconsistent. You can run over one object and lose control and yet another doesn't affect you.

Also includes a Terrible soundtrack and awkward mini-games.

Pretty fun. The best option for destruction derby style games right now. Too bad there is no split-screen play.
